Sermon: "He Calls Me By Name"

This Easter morning we celebrate the resurrection.  He is risen!  He is risen indeed!  This is a very special Easter for me personally.  This is the first opportunity I've ever had to actually preach on Easter Sunday.  In every other year of my ministry, I've been the backup to someone else.  This year I finally get my chance to preach to those who make their way to Church Requel.  So, where does one go to preach on the resurrection?  There are seventeen recorded interactions with the post-resurrected Jesus.  I thought I would consider the very first one for this first Easter message.  Even though Mary Magdalene was the first to see the resurrected Jesus, she didn't recognize him at first - only after he called out her name. How do we know God? He calls us by name! Join me for this moving Easter message from John 20:11-18.
