I stopped into the church on Saturday morning, and guess who I found burning some extra weekend hours? This is Deering Dyer, our small groups pastor, painting a mural which we hope will be hung up in the entrance way to our offices. So is painting a mural anywhere in Deering's job description? Nope. But it's something he's good at and we needed some artwork. That's just one more example of how very cool it is for me to work with this group of people. (I wonder where Deering plans to paint the finger of God touching the finger of man?)
