Good Friday morning Church Requel!
What a HUGE Sunday we have planned for this Thanksgiving weekend!
(1) Our normal worship service will take place at 11am.
(2) Our Thanksgiving Potluck will begin at noon.
(3) Our special Thanksgiving Concert will begin at 1pm! Let's start there for the purposes of this newsletter. Your Church Requel praise team has learned lots of new worship music since summer. As our way of sending up thank-you's to our Lord and Savior, we invite you to join us. Among the many songs we will sing will be two Church Requel originals, one written by Wendy Kriegel and another written by Yours Truly.
This will be a great opportunity to invite family and friends. There also will be other churches from Godsfield joining in with us. So let's be great hosts on Sunday, helping people find the coffee and snacks as well as the restrooms.

Potluck Meal. This will be our church Thanksgiving feast! So bring some food to share with others. No one person has to cook up a storm. We'll have more than enough for everyone! The church will provide the ham along with all the paper products - plates, napkins and silverware. We LOVE our potlucks!!!
Our Worship Service at 11am. We are looking forward to our worship time together. Our student ministry (known as the Sequels) will light our first Advent wreath candle, "Hope." They will share with us their hopes during this Christmas season.
Our songs will include: "Grateful" by Elevation Worship; "10,000 Reasons" by Matt Redman; "Great Are You Lord" by All Sons & Daughters; and "God So Loved" by We The Kingdom.
Our sermon will finish off what we began a week ago. Last Sunday we talked about the four things that God Remembers That We Forget. This Sunday we will talk about the one thing that God Forgets That We Remember. Really? Can God forget anything? Come and see Sunday morning!
