Good Friday morning Church Requel!
This Sunday promises to be a special day. We plan to honor our high school graduates, John Vetter and Anna Scott. They have both been an important part of our congregation for the last 10 years and we want to send them off with our best Church Requel celebration. We all know what that means: POTLUCK SUNDAY! So plan to bring your side dishes and desserts. Don is planning on providing the ham as our main dish. The church will also provide all the paper products and eating utensils. Let's celebrate together Sunday!
Sunday Worship Plans. Here are the songs we plan to sing on Sunday: "Overcomer" by Mandisa; "My Story" by Big Daddy Weave; "Beautiful Day" by Jesus Culture; and "Made New" by Lincoln Brewster.
Don and Vanessa have prepared a special song for us - and for the first time ever at Church Requel, we get to see Don play his accordion while Vanessa plays her uke and sings. You won't want to miss it! Yours truly is also planning to sing another song from Grandma Wise's songbook, "I Have But One Goal," by Molly O'Day.
If you will be watching from home Sunday morning, you can tune in either with our Facebook Page or on our YouTube Channel. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/ROgulS8W5r4
Our sermon Sunday morning is the first part of a two-parter titled, "12 Choices To Live My Best Life." Since it is graduation season, I thought of the message that I would want to give to my own grandchildren as they embark on their lives. And yes, I DO have a grandson ALSO graduation from high school this year - Go Grayden! So over the next two weeks I will be sharing the 12 choices that I think make a big difference in a life well lived.

P.S. Thank you all for continuing to pray for my dad and our family. Much appreciated!
